Transportation Services Framework
Does the safe passage of your goods depend on a clear legal understanding? At THE LUBRICANT WAREHOUSE, LLC, we believe transparency is the bedrock of reliable logistics. Our operations are governed by industry-standard carriage laws and specific company stipulations designed to mitigate risk while maximizing efficiency.
1. Scope of Carriage
All transport services provided by THE LUBRICANT WAREHOUSE, LLC are subject to availability and current transit capacities. We're committed to the delivery schedules provided at dispatch, though we're not liable for delays caused by atmospheric conditions, port congestion, or regulatory inspections. Our responsibility begins the moment our drivers sign the bill of lading.
2. Transit Liability & Claims
How do we protect your investment? Our liability for loss or damage is strictly limited to the declared value of the cargo at the time of booking. Claims must be filed in writing within 15 days of delivery to our office at PO BOX 855 ONEONTA. We don't accept verbal notifications for insurance purposes.
3. Warehousing Agreements
For goods entering our warehouse facilities, THE LUBRICANT WAREHOUSE, LLC maintains a standard of care as a professional bailee. We aren't responsible for internal defects or manufacturing flaws of stored items. Clients must provide accurate MSDS sheets for any specialty cargo before storage begins at our warehouse locations.
